I have been such a bitch to this poor girl, I swear. I've spent the last hour or so trying to explain to her that I have nothing in common with her or her friends. Basically... I've had to tell her four times what TV shows I like, and three times what books I like. It's like she can't understand that there's a teenage girl in the world who doesn't read romantic comedies or something. I told her that Meg Cabot trying to write badass characters is the intellectual equivalent of having my cat claw my eyes out, lulz. I'm so meannn.
...I should be nicer to her, though. She does lots of awesome things for me. I'm not referring to dragging me out of my comfort zone every so often just because she feels sorry for me, of course, it's just that whenever I talk to her, I feel much smarter. Yay? |

IT'S NOT REAL~ but I'm trying to make Brenna record herself playing "Dance, Dance" on the gee-tar [...and singing it too xD] so I can do my bass... stuff over it and then we'd have an actual ~song~ XD
Edit: Or on second thought, I'm 99.9% sure I'm in a real band now XD Although I'm not sure if it'll work out since the other two people are a couple thousand miles away and I've only been playing for a few days but oh well. |

two thousand miles
two thousand miles is not a long walk for her and she could get here in about an hour, she says. i know she's only joking. but i will miss the snow, i say, and she says she will sacricfice her summer sun so we can live in a snowcapped apartment, an apartment like the rockstars trash and then pay lots of money to repair.
but that is a long time and two thousand miles away so for now i can only read her candy-coated words. too much sugar makes you sick after a while thought so sometimes i make her tell me straight-up.
two thousand miles but i can still feel my face meet the ground like hers does and breaks her glasses when they trip her in the halls.
two thousand miles but i can still hear those others whispering about her in the cafeteria when she sits alone and reads the words that take her away from that place, if only for an hour or two.
two thousand miles but i can still see the tears in her eyes when i tell her that everything will be okay, to think about me and our snowy apartment and the life we'll have that everyone will want but can't have because karma always wins.
and i can't help her much else but when i'm sad i think of her and then i think of how two thousand miles really isn't that far.
OMG ILY BRENNA~~~ YOU MADE MY DAYLIFE. I FEEL SO LOVED. <33333
EDIT: k, so, if my future car has, what, twenty miles per gallon, and gas prices are about $3 a gallon, that's, what, $300something to go almost 2000 miles? Hmmm. SOMEDAY! |
